Course Information

Start by leaving the start line and turning right onto “OO”. All riders must follow the lead ATV until you turn left onto the Telemark Fire Lane gravel road. DO NOT pass the ATV until you reach the gravel or you will be disqualified.

Then follow your course arrows for the duration of your event.

 

  • Black arrows on Yellow signs mark the Citizen
    • ~ 10 miles
    • 1 water/aid station
      • @Boedecker Rd
    • 5 miles to finish after crossing the bridge at 00

 

  • White arrows on Blue signs are for the Sport and Fat Bike
    • ~15 miles (or is it 17)
    • 2 water/aid stations
      • @Telemark Fire Lane (near camp 38 TH)
      • @Boedecker Rd
    • 5 miles to finish after crossing the bridge at 00

 

  • Black arrows on White signs mark the Expert
    • ~25 miles
    • 2 water/aid stations
      • @Telemark Fire Lane (near camp 38 TH)
      • @Boedecker Rd
    • 5 miles to finish after crossing the bridge at 00

 

 

Be aware as you may encounter other non-PreFat riders and/or vehicles anywhere on the course. The courses are not closed for this event!

 

You will finish immediately adjacent to where you started in the Kortelopet Ski Race start field, located south of “OO”. You’ll first cross the Birkie Bridge over “OO” and then have another section of single track leading to the wider ski trail and your finish.

 

Much of these courses are used for the Chequamegon Mountain Bike races. All courses include sections of CAMBA single track. The 25 mile Expert Course is approximately 50% single track. The 17 mile Sport and Fat Bike Course is 40-50%, and the 10 mile Citizen Course is about 30-40% single track. More detailed information on each of the courses is provided below.
